Cory McCarthy
Relationship Manager
Cory began his career when he started his company, One Look Studios, in April of 2009. He aimed to assist small business owners with website development as well as provide affordable marketing solutions. During his junior year of college, he joined Retirement Benefits Group as an intern and was quickly promoted to Marketing Manager after graduating from the University of California, San Diego.
In 2015, he transitioned to his current role as a Relationship Manager, which appealed to his passion for partnering with organizations on managing and improving the benefits being offered to their employees. He works closely with plan sponsors and retirement plan committees on completing plan administration requirements, which ultimately leads to making positive impacts on the retirement outcomes of plan participants.
Interests
Cory enjoys using his creative talents to design websites, produce music and write poetry. He is also an eSports enthusiast, rooting for North American organizations such as Cloud9 and TeamLiquid.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of California, San Diego. Esports Management Specialized Studies Program from the University of California, Irvine.
