Bob has owned and managed businesses providing investment and retirement planning services for over 30 years. Bob is an investment advisor and a CPC in the American Society of Pension Actuaries, providing broad experience in understanding plan liabilities and the asset allocation strategies needed to accomplish sponsor objectives.  As principal and past owner of Stanwich Benefits Group, Inc., he provided investment management, actuarial and 401(k) daily recordkeeping and outsource services. Bob served as the President of their Employee Investment Plan Division of The Bank of New York, developing their retirement, equity plan and insurance services. On leaving the Bank, Bob combined services with Barbara Delaney and RBG, providing employee benefit consulting and investment advisory services at StoneStreet Equity and Retirement Benefits Group. Today he’s currently working with Independent Financial Partners.

Rylen Yamamoto is a Retirement Consultant with Retirement Benefits Group, where he manages employer sponsored retirement plans as well as customized financial plans for individuals. For his business clients, he assists owners and human resource departments in designing and delivering management and employee education programs; benchmarking investment performance; and ensuring compliance with ERISA laws.  His work with individuals includes identifying, creating and monitoring financial plans; as well as recommending strategies to achieve their financial goals.

Spending 30 years with Prudential Financial and an addition 8 years as an independent financial planner, he has a wide range of insurance knowledge and expertise.
