Rachel Tiedemann

Client Service Specialist

Rachel is a Client Service Specialist at Retirement Benefits Group. She serves as a contact for clients and plan sponsors, providing support to assist them with day-to-day plan administrative responsibilities. In addition to managing relationships, she generates plan analysis reports, creates plan sponsor and participant newsletters, and legislative updates for 401(k) clients, while also preparing materials for educational meetings and campaigns. Rachel joined RBG with a colorful background. She brought with her extensive experience in Client Services, Office Administration, and Marketing. Before joining RBG, Rachel worked in a variety of offices in the Non-Profit sector. She is studying for her series 7 license, with plans to become a registered Financial Advisor specializing in education and serving the under-served populations.

Interests

During her free time, Rachel enjoys attending concerts, spending time with her friends, family, but most importantly her fiancé Alex and their cats. She also enjoys playing tabletop and video games, crocheting, and as a self-proclaimed nerd – loves attending conventions like Comic-Con and Wondercon. She also has a passion for giving back, and in addition to the experience referenced above, Rachel has been a past volunteer with TEDx (a local affiliate of TED Talks), the Special Olympics, the Ally Coalition, A Reason to Survive (ARTS), and is a current volunteer with Junior Achievement of San Diego (JA) and Reverb.org. In addition to volunteering as a youth educator with JA, Rachel is also Co-Chair of their Young Executive Society. She is also a member of Women in Pensions Network (WiPN), Ellevate, and a student member of the Female Advisors Network.
